Space Comes To Deadwood

Mark Fatu said today that he thought a fourth series of Deadwood based on Earth might be a goer if aliens invade the town. Fatu said that the Aliens coming to town would represent a threat that would unite the town against a common invader. Fatu thought the body count could get up to a hundred or more per show which would no doubt strain the local pig population who usually helped dispose of the bodies. The angle is apparently that the aliens suddenly acquire a taste for gold and come into Deadwood to try and takeover the claims of George Hearst. Fatu said he was not worried about the historical accuracy of the story.

Deadwood in Space

Mark "The Beast" Fatu said the New Year looked much better as he looked to go back to the western genre as inspiration for a space based film. Fatu said he'd had a major rethink after watching Deadwood and thought an a wild west type of theme would work well in space. Fatu said he knew it had kind of been done already with Firefly but the body count would be higher with Deadwood in space and the language significantly worse. Fatu said Deadwood in Space would be using words like Frakkin, as seen on Battlestar Gallactica.
